As we know, Culture is something we learn and walkway on from generation to generation in our family. Our culture has so much meaning because it ranges from what types of traditions we practice to how we choose to live our lives. No matter what, our families try their hardest to keep the culture alive by hoping us sons and daughters practice the culture full on.
Our parents requisite us to follow in their footsteps in as many things as possible, especially when it comes to our traditions. This happens to be the case for Tariq. Tariq and his sister grew up place by side with their parents in everything they did, from praying to Allah early every morning, to breathing out to Mosque, which is their version of church. Their family culture appeared to be perfect because they prayed as a family, and seemed to have a strong bond with their culture. The only someone who seemed to be slightly opposite from everyone else in the family was Tariq. He would acquire his Cufis in his house but as soon as he got to school he would take it off, leaving his founding don with the impression that his son is following in his footsteps.
Tarqua, Tariqs sister, withal would get to school and take off the Hijab that Muslim women were ask to wear on their heads, and have Tariq brush her hair. Little by little the children were slowly drifting away from what their father, Hassan, had hoped they would never compliments to separate from; their traditions.
That was the one thing going wrong in Tariqs family culture. His father was trying to mold Tariq into a reflect image of himself. Tariqs mother noticed these changes and did not see with them at all. There began to be problems in the family and they split up. Tariq went with his father and Tarqua with her mother, Safiya. After that, everything completely changed for Tariq.
