BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Lab 8 assumes that apparatus has been completed as specified in the setup document, and that your computing machine has connectivity to different lab computers and the Internet. Lab 8 too assumes that you let completed the non-optional exercises in the previous labs. Specifically, Lab 8 assumes the following:
The even-numbered computer (RWDCyy) must be configured to hire the odd-numbered computer (RWDCxx) as its preferred DNS server, as exposit in Lab 1, Project 1-4.
Active Directory is installed on the odd-numbered computer (RWDCxx), as described in Lab 2, Project 2-1 and Project 2-2.
The even-numbered computer is configured as a member server in the domainxx.local domain, as described in Lab 7, Project 7-1.
Users have the right to log on to domain controllers, as described in Lab 5, Project 5-1.
NOTEIn this lab, you will bet the characters xx, yy, and zz.



These directions assume that students are working in pairs, and that individually student has a number. One number is odd and the other number is even. For example, the first student pair will contain of RWDC01 as the first odd-numbered computer and RWDC02 as the first even-numbered computer, RWDC03 and RWDC04 as the second student pair, and RWDC05 and RWDC06 as the third student pair.
