The creation of Pakistan is unique in the sense that it is base on an ideology which sought its roots from religion Islam. The Muslims of subcontinent demanded that the areas where they were in legal age should be constituted into a sovereign state, wherein they could order their lives in accordance with the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah of Holy oracle (PBUH). The basis of the Muslim countryhood was neither linguistic nor territorial or ethnic rather they were a nation because they belonged to the same faith, Islam. This supposition of nationhood developed in the creation of Pakistan rather than Pakistan creating the concept of a nation hood. The ideology that Muslim of the subcontinent was a separate nation from the Hindu society was not an abrupt one precisely took shape through an evolutionary process which was nourished by the in divergency attitude of British raj and Hindus.
Though Muslims and Hindus were living in concert in subcontinent for centuries yet there was no compatibility between the two. The difference was not mere the religions but the two different loving orders that produce two distinct culture. After the war of independency 1857, the British attributed the war to the Muslims alone and consider Muslim the bloodline of chronic danger to their power.



They were denied employment opportunities everywhere in the army, tax department, and judiciary. The newly introduced English system of education had many drawbacks for the Muslims. He had been a keen advocate of Hindu-Muslim unity but after this event he put forward the Two-Nation Theory, predicting that the two communities would not join unneurotic in anything wholeheartedly.
