Being a crew member of the Dutch ravish had its good and bad times. When we arrive in Africa to pick up the slaves it was a numerous amount of them. They look genuinely unlike from us they had real dark rough looking uncase while our skin was nice, white and silky feeling. Their hair was very short nappy and not in good reason where our hair is long straight and have a meek feeling. Most of them were skinny and look very unhealthy their enclothe look like they were made from rags it was just dreadful. I was disgust by their appearances. The language they spoke was so different from ours I could hardly under live it. It were many slaves that we had no choice only when to put them on be which by the way is the scald part of the ship to stay. As days grew longer and the iniquitys grew to a greater extent mournful the live on started to get really bad. First the weather will be nice than it rains, than well have a cosmic storm out of nowhere. The storms were horrible, sometimes they would concluding for days crimson weeks. With the weather always changing a lot of slaves and withal some of my crew members became really sick. One night the cant was dark, gloomy and mortifying looking it almost seem the night was growing darker and darker by the minute.
Well on that dark and unpleasant night I was looking into the water thinking nigh my life back at home when all of a sudden I start to hear this antagonizing noise the clayey was so bad I couldnt even stand it anymore I just had to know what it was. The was coming from the deck the sounds was the cries of some slaves It had gotten worst when I went down there. Some of the slaves were dieing so they were screaming out and crying one of the slave last word were HELP US GOD!
They were die from a terrible disease called smallpox some of my crew members had it to exclusively their were no cure. Others of them die from either suffocation from being very crowded or starvation.
