Abstract

Sigmund Freud may well be honourably called the most influential intellectual researcher of his age. His research of psychoanalysis, unconscious mind noetic processes, neurosis, the sexual life of infants, and the interpretation of dreams, set the foundations for youthful understanding of kind science (Freud, 2004, pg 1).

Psychology is the science of mind and demeanor (Psychology, 2009, pg 1). “The work of Sigmund Freud marked the beginning of a modern, dynamic psychology by providing the first systematic explanation of the inner psychical forces determining human behaviour” (Freud, 2004, pg 1). Sigmund Freud was born on may 6, 1856, of the Austrian Empire, and died on September 23, 1939(Freud, 2009, pg 1). His researches of his time were astounding breakthroughs in psychology history.
Sigmund Freud developed psychoanalysis: the study of human psychological functioning and behavior. It was a highly influential method of treating mental disorders, shaped by psychoanalytic theory, which emphasizes unconscious mental processes and is sometimes described as “depth psychology” (Psychoanalysis, 2009, pg 4).




Unconscious mental processes are the complexes of mental activities within an single that proceed without his awareness. Sigmund Freud say that such unconscious processes might affect a persons behavior even though he cannot report on them. Freud expansive among different levels of consciousness.
