Grammar schools were used for boys of the all classes and high class girls from the ages of seven to eleven. During these stratums the students were taught Latin grammar and only were allowed matchless textbook. During their first year at grammar school the students would have wise to(p) how to talk properly with the use of verbs and nouns. During the second year the students would be taught how the proper way to write a sentence.
During the final year of grammar school the student were learnt Latin-English translation and English-Latin translations.
During the second round(ages eleven to fourteen) at grammar school the boys and girls revised everything they learned during the earlier years of the grammar school then learned arithmetic (math) and studied religions.
The work was cowling during the years of grammar school. The school started at five o time in the morning and finished at five oclock in the evening with two hour break for lunch. During the winter the school started recentr and finished earlier because of the late sunrises and the early sunsets.
