On May 20th 1927, Charles Lindbergh senior became the first take flight ever to fly solo across the transatlantic. After pickings off from an airport in Long Island, he traveled thirty three and one half hours and 3,500 miles to Paris, France where Lindbergh landed his planer to cheering crowds. Five years later, and still famous, Lindbergh Sr. had a wife and a twenty month old sister son named Charles Augustus Lindbergh Jr. Tragically, on March 1st 1932, Lindbergh Sr.s son was abducted while sleeping in his nursery, held for ransom, and later on put in dead. Through an exhaustive investigation, evidence was found that hint to the capture of the culprit, Bruno Richard Hauptmann. In the course of the trial, which was dubbed the hatred of the century Hauptmann was prosecuted, found guilty and thereafter sentenced to execution. The kidnapping distorted the populations outlook on others who had a celebrity status, as tumesce as targeting an innocent being by creating a scapegoat. This execration also appeared as a biased investigation and form a federal bylaw making kidnapping a felony.
