Abstract

The baron to think about a situation, a decision, an event, or just a feeling is what separates the human being from every other mammal on the planet. We do not only act on our survival mechanisms but rather we muddle decisions based on our feelings and the feelings others using different thought processes and styles. The authority that we think and make decisions not only shows our intelligence and our ability to reason but it also shows who we ar or who we are not. Today we are going to image many of these thought process styles and how they affect the thinking processes and decisions within our everyday lives.

Everyday distributively individual, young to old, fills their minds with thoughts. These thoughts may be a result of their environment, their family and friends, their work, or just simply themselves. Critical thinking is a system everyone can use to make decisions, assumptions, or determinations about a multitude of events in life. Follow us as we examine how the use of different thinking styles such as logical, scientific, and originative affect the decisions we have made in our everyday lives.




Thinking logically and identifying reasoning fallacies in ones own mind is sarcastic thinking. “The best thinkers follow evidence and reason wherever they head” (Paul & Elder, 2006, p. 11). Deductive thinking is reasoning that begins with two or to a greater extent premises and derives a conclusion that must follow from those premises, a conclusion that is in fact contained or hidden in those very premises.
